SELLA RONDA
The unique and spectacular panorama ski carousel encompassing the Sella Massive connects the four Ladin valleys and world-renowned ski regions: Gröden/Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba, and Fassa Valley.
Even before reinforced roads and aerial lifts became common, it was possible to make a roundtrip ski tour around the Sella Group. The inhabitants of the surrounding area were thus able to keep in contact via the four passes.
The Sella Ronda affords access to 500 km of slopes and some of the world's most-famous downhill slopes: Bellunese (Marmolada), Gran Risa (Alta Badia), Val Giumela (Fassa Valley), and Saslong (Gröden/Gardena). The four Alpine villages of Corvara, Arabba, Canzei, and Wolkenstein are excellent starting points.
The tour takes 5-6 hours. It's thus possible to complete a circuit in either direction in just one day. The Sella Ronda has a total length of about 40 km, including 26 km of ski slopes which an intermediate-level skiers should have no difficulty completing.
It is a unique ski carousel situated in the enchanting Alpine landscape of the Dolomites, with mountain peaks, traditional Alpine villages, and a breathtaking panorama.
